Convenient location for some errands I have to do in Chicago downtown. The room was nice and clean and my family and I slept well there. They have plenty of breakfast options, and my kids also enjoyed the pool.

Very frustrating that they charge $25 for checking in before 4:00. If the room is ready, what’s the big deal? Other Hampton Inn’s don’t do that and other hotels nearby in downtown Chicago don’t either. Stay was okay, nothing outstanding except for the nice blonde woman at the front desk. Didn’t get her name but she was always friendly and very helpful.

The location was great for the activities we had planned. Easy access to train station was a big advantage. I didn't like the $65 per night parking fee but the closest option was $55/night.

The valet would not take our car so we had to find another parking garage. The one they referred us to was way too far to walk with kids. The area felt unsafe compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. (Quite a few in the area) Check in staff was unfriendly. We will not stay here again nor recommend for families.
