We enjoyed every aspect of this hotel apart from one crucial thing. After disembarking a Silversea cruise, we checked in and a friend from the ship accompanied us to the hotel. The front desk would not accept a US driver’s licence as ID and refused to let him see our room for a brief moment. I was informed that only a passport would suffice. This is a unique property in the buzzy Getsemani area. Every room is different but I booked Up in the Sky with a small private roof terrace and private jacuzzi. Wonderful space to relax after a hot and humid day in Cartagena. Breakfast is freshly prepared to order. Me and my husband stayed here in May. The hotel looks exactly like the photos online, and it was gorgeous. Perfect location in the Walled City and great staff. We also booked a day trip to an island via them, and they definitely helped us. The only thing I would say is the bedroom is large but quite dark due to lighting. Also the hotel has a great rooftop area, but would great to have the hotel staff more present there so you can easily order food and drinks there. Would still come back to stay...
