Our stay at the Four Seasons Cartagena was nothing short of spectacular. The property is well designed, centrally located and have all the amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The rooms were pristine and cofee and breakfast were well made and delicious ! Most of all, the staff made us feel most at home. From Daniel who welcomed us, Juliet/Yulieth and Onoris at Patio Limonar to Andres and Angely from the coffee bar Rialto- all of them made our visit most memorable !

Absolutely impressive new hotel in a beautifully restored historic building. We stayed four nights in one of their colonial rooms which surround a peaceful courtyard with enormous, romantic trees and a fountain. We found ourselves at the hotel bar nightly for excellent craft cocktails. At the rooftop every afternoon for a dip in the saltwater pool with 360 views of the city and clock tower. The steakhouse (modeled after a classic NY steakhouse) was top notch. The service throughout the hotel was excellent and everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Will certainly be back - especially if Cartagena airport can do something about the hours-long customs lines.

Property is lovely, rooms are awesome, food is great and staff is superb. 3 comments that I wish would’ve been proactively disclaimed: - some rooms in colonial section have no windows whatsoever, such as mine. Had to request room change, and had to insist a bit to get it. - There are renovations taking place, which imply construction noise. - Upon receiving the final check, you will get a $70+/day gratuity added. No question, not optional. I wouldn’t have minded any of these, as long as they would’ve been transparently disclaimed prior to booking, to provide a more accurate depiction of what I’d be getting. For a top tier destination like this one, surprises like these shouldn’t be expected. Therefore, I share this in the intention that future travelers have all the information at hand for their decision process.

We enjoyed every aspect of this hotel apart from one crucial thing. After disembarking a Silversea cruise, we checked in and a friend from the ship accompanied us to the hotel. The front desk would not accept a US driver’s licence as ID and refused to let him see our room for a brief moment. I was informed that only a passport would suffice. The following evening, we invited a friend from the US who was in the area to come to the hotel around 8.30pm before going to dinner. We warned her that she would need to give the hotel reception her passport. However, when we called the reception desk to inform them we were expecting a guest, we were told this would not be possible. This was extremely embarrassing for us when we had to inform our friend that she was not welcome at the hotel. Furthermore, I was approached many times during our stay asking for my name and room number as if I did not belong there. This was irritating. The bed was excellent and the room beautifully quiet. Breakfast was wonderful also with a great choice. Unfortunately, however, I would probably stay elsewhere on my sixth visit to Cartegena for the reasons above.

Four Seasons Cartagena is next level! From the moment you arrive, the service is absolutely top notch truly some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced. And the restaurant on site? INSANE. The food, the atmosphere, the attention to detail everything was incredible. The chef can seriously do no wrong! If you a Sunset lover definitely go to the rooftop pool one of the most beautiful sunset I ever see . I could honestly go on and on about this place. If you’re in Cartagena, Four Seasons is a must. 10/10 experience from start to finish!

Spacious Colonial Room with plenty of storage and a fantastic location near most attractions. Breakfast was excellent, but the unexpected $70-per-day service fee was disappointing, especially since breakfast was already included in our booking. The staff was friendly, though English was limited. Our room was next to a church, so there was occasional noise. Most concerning, something appeared to bite us in bed, causing itchy, red areas. We reported it twice, but despite promises to investigate, nothing was done.

A beautiful hotel. The design is amazing. The spa is mediocre. They don’t have a sauna. They don’t have a cold plunge. Just a steam room and a shower. At this caliber, being a new hotel, they should’ve invested in that.

Beautiful hotel although front rooms could be extremely noisy from the street action. Front desk staff was extremely slow on providing me my invoice, 2 hours of calling requesting it and I still have not received. I expected more from Four Seasons regarding pool bar staff. Rest of our stay was wonderful. Hotel Manager handled my issues with professionalism.

Travelers are not informed in advance that a passport stamp is required in order to qualify for the tax exemption process. In my case, I utilized the BioMig digital immigration system, which does not result in a passport stamp being issued. When I requested to speak with the Manager regarding this matter, I was informed by staff that the Manager had indicated there was nothing further that could be done, other than completing an online immigration form. While I appreciate the information provided, I would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss the situation directly with the Manager. Unfortunately, no direct communication was offered, and the response was conveyed only through staff. I respectfully suggest that clearer information regarding passport stamp requirements be provided to travelers in advance, particularly for those using digital immigration systems such as BioMig, in order to avoid confusion and inconvenience.

Excelente el servicio y la atención del staff, tal vez el único lunar negro es el restaurante le grand , cuando se hospeda uno en un four season los precios poco se miran.. pero la relación precio calidad del restaurante si deja mucho que desear, no vale la pena , hay muchas mejores opciones en la ciudad vieja.. de resto el desayuno variado y muy bueno, las hab buen tamaño y comodas. Las piscinas en temporada alta no les van a dar a basto
