This is possibly the best place I have ever stayed in my life. What a beautiful, grand, picture-perfect property. It feels like it should cost thousands a night to stay there - like somewhere an exclusive celebrity or film star would stay. It was inspiring, enchanting. You have to stay there to believe it. I would love to stay here again.

Property was very conveniently located in the historical central area, so it was easy to reach everywhere by walking. Staff at the hotel Maria, Rodrigo and Juan were very personable and helpful

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre but surprisingly quiet. You can use the pool if the sister hotel casona del colegio which is bigger and have breakfast there if you like.

Everything was wonderful except the SPA wasn't available ( closed or fully booked).

Staff were amazing, rooms were beautiful. And the rooftop with pool was such a nice space. Food was good, if not excellent (with the exception of the ceviche, which was excellent!)

Location in the heart of the centre all the main attractions are on your doorstep. Hotel provides a great base for small trips in the heat which enables you to make most of the attractions. Hotel room was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus more. There is a great view from the roof terrace with a nice swimming pool. This is a unique property in the buzzy Getsemani area. Every room is different but I booked Up in the Sky with a small private roof terrace and private jacuzzi. Wonderful space to relax after a hot and humid day in Cartagena. Breakfast is freshly prepared to order. All staff are very friendly and helpful and Marcus the owner was great at communicating before and during my stay. There are loads of nice bars and restaurants almost on the door step and it is a 15 minute walk to the Clock tower...

A stunning traditional colonial style property and our room was huge (we got the large one with the balcony). Everything was clean and the staff were amazing - always friendly and approachable and ready to help. They took great care of us even up to the last moment when we were leaving and ensured all our luggage was transported to the taxi without us lifting a finger. Exceptional stay. Rooms and beds were aesthetically designed and very comfortable. Staff go above and beyond - kind, attentive and always looking after you. We had a fantastic stay at Palma de Albas. The hotel is a beautiful quiet escape from Cartagena, but very close to all amenities. A special shout out to Carlos, who was amazing and helped us have such a memorable stay.

Me and my husband stayed here in May. The hotel looks exactly like the photos online, and it was gorgeous. Perfect location in the Walled City and great staff. We also booked a day trip to an island via them, and they definitely helped us. The only thing I would say is the bedroom is large but quite dark due to lighting. Also the hotel has a great rooftop area, but would great to have the hotel staff more present there so you can easily order food and drinks there. Would still come back to stay...
