"Lovely location and beautiful rooms. Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. The only negative was a smell that emanated from our shower drain that permeated the bathroom. We managed to contain it to the bathroom but it was not pleasant at all!"

"Staff were communicative. Rooms are managed by another hotel so communication for check-in etc down via WhatsApp. All worked fine. Room was generally nice but a couple of things weren’t in good condition or clean (eg coffee stains on outdoor table not cleaned ahead of our arrival). The door was really awkward to open. Would have been appreciated if the reception contact had flagged the specific technique for unlocking it. Overall, the room was nice and worked well for us (two adults and our 12 year old). Really great location - good to get from train station and around Venice. Lovely canal view from the balcony. Overall, I’d recommend it and would be happy to use again,"

"The hotel is beautiful and the decor is as far from bland as you can get. You really know you’re in Venice in this hotel. The best thing about staying at this hotel is the location - very quiet but only a 3 minute walk from loads of great bars and restaurants. The Cannaregio area is so lovely and feels far away from the heaving tourist heart of Venice, even though it’s only about 25 minutes walk away. The hotel also runs a shuttle boat 2/3 times in the morning, returning early evening. €8 pp. The hotel is very relaxing. It’s not huge and busy. Breakfast is delicious. Staff are all helpful. Rooms well equipped. You can request anything you need online. We asked for an extra pillow that way and it came immediately! I was impressed."

"Very comfortable and relatively modern room for our family, and we loved the location - quiet but easy walks everywhere we wanted to see. Disappointed that we could not have the AC on (apparently not in season) and that we had to pay extra for coffee pod replenishments for the room (minor point, but annoying as this is the only place where we experienced this during our travels). Staff were helpful in coordinating water taxis. Overall very good option for Venice."
