"The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel and I would stay there again if I wanted to stay in this area. Close to the the end of the grand canal, which makes it easy to get to a cab or bus to go to the airport. The hotel even arranged a porter to pick up our luggage and a cab to drive us to the airport, which was very helpful. Super nice hotel staff. Breakfast was included. Nice breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast, plain yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, cappuccino/latte machine, juices, and sweet treats (chocolate croissants.) The only downside: - The pillows were too thin (we did not go ask for more pillows as we were there only one night). - Shower located in the middle of the bathtub which was kind of unusual and not so easy to use. - We were there on a Friday night and there was loud music playing outside that resulted in bass thumps in hotel room until about 11:00 - then it was nice and quiet after that."

"My husband and I stayed here in early September 2025. The manager of this Hotel Ala in Venice offered us a free private excursion to Murano by boat, for their guests only he said. But I wanted to warn people in advance of this... The boat left right from the back door of our hotel. We loved this. After the tour and showing us the glass display shops on Murano, we did not buy anything. Because of this, on the boat back, they dropped us off right at the first stop in Venice (driver would not take us back to the hotel when asked) and we had to walk 35 minutes in 90 degree heat, just to get back to our hotel. Instead of bringing us back to where they picked us up from. We were not told this ahead of time. It was supposed to be a tour to/from the hotel. We complained after to front desk, but they did not care. So be forewarned about "free" Murano tours. They should not be in the business of deceiving their guests."

"Excellent staff! Clean! Room very quiet! Room temp was set at front desk to either heater or AC not both. At night it got a bit cool and I could not adjust the temperature a bit warmer. Gym is not on site but available nearby. Enjoyed our time at your hotel! Thank you!"

"The staff communicated effectively in English and were able to assist with basic questions, which made the stay easier overall. While we did not intend to spend much time in the room, the accommodations did not match the photos presented at the time of booking, which was disappointing. Access to our assigned “orange” room required climbing 62 steps, which may be a consideration for some guests. Additionally, air conditioning was not available due to local seasonal regulations, and the room became uncomfortable at times—particularly with mosquitoes present each evening. There were also no fans provided. The room itself was minimally equipped, with very limited luggage storage, no desk, and no microwave. Lastly, while the property does offer complimentary activities or options, these were not communicated unless specifically requested. Overall, while the staff was courteous, there are several areas where clearer communication and improved room conditions would significantly enhance the guest experience."
