"When I checked in the front desk clerk said they do not normally clean the rooms as routine but I could request that next morning for it to be cleaned by giving my room number. I felt assured and said I would do that. Around 9:30 the next morning I did in fact politely ask the front desk clerk to ask housekeeping to clean my room and repeated my room number so my request was clear. I got back to the hotel late that night around 12:30 AM, and my room had not been touched. Disappointing. At checkout that morning I mentioned this to the clerk on duty. His flat answer was that they do not clean rooms. I said that's not what I had been told and that I had specifically asked from my room to be cleaned, yet it wasn't and that I was furious. I said this is unacceptable, that this was part of what I paid for. He repeated his assertion that rooms are not cleaned, which directly contradicted what I had been told. It was an outright LIE and quite RUDE. Do not stay here. The room was fine, the breakfast OK, but the complete lack of service and refusal to honor their promise is unacceptable. It points to a management problem and lack of customer support by staff."

"We had a wonderful time at the Cambria downtown Minneapolis. It was the perfect place to stay and walk to the baseball game at Target Field. The staff was wonderful and pleasant. Our bartender was excellent and the drinks were very well made. If we ever go back to Minneapolis, we will definitely stay here. The only issue we had, was we received a parking ticket, even though we paid for parking. However, we spoke to the front desk and they took care of the problem."

"Breakfast needs to be open earlier on Saturdays. Stayed for a tournament and couldnt eat cuz didnt open til 7am. Room/hotel was ok and clean but had a funny smell in entire motel including room. Like trying to cover up pet smell or something like that."
