Minneapolis is maybe the most overlooked awesome city in the country. And perhaps that's a good thing - it hasn't been ruined by popularity. It's like a smaller NYC in terms of artistic and cultural offerings, but without the crowds or messiness.

I had already booked tickets for a play at the Ordway, and to a Twins game. I took a great walking tour the first day, got a map, then went to a couple museums, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and rented a bike and rode around the lakes.

Great town! A very quiet town considering how big of a city it is. The town always seems very laid-back and safe, we are from Madison Wisconsin, and are used to a busier downtown with not a lot of parking options.

Love Minneapolis, super bike friendly and a beautiful city with intricate and impressive architecture.
"Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend!
I loved everything about my stay at The Lofton Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The staff was friendly, the room was super clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel had a stylish, boutique feel. Great location, amazing food and drinks, and relaxing common areas. One of my best hotel experiences—would absolutely stay again!"
"I’ve never heard of Cambria until this stay. The hotel was nice. Lobby area was very nice. My check-in person was great but the check-out person was talking on her cell phone when I tried to checkout so I just dropped the keys in the box since she didn’t acknowledge me standing there. Parking is shared with a public parking area so I was a little concerned. Also, our room was located right by the sidewalk. With the shade up you can see people walking by right by the window. "
