4/5 - Good
It was a convenient location for us to be close to family at the hospital so we didn't explore the area at all on this occasion.
Travellers come to Elstree for its abundant dining options, and you can see top attractions like Anderton Nature Park and London Elstree Aerodrome while you're in town.

The hotel is in Elstree, not Borehamwood. Borehamwood is horrible, but there is beautiful countryside nearby.
Lots of restaurants.
I was born there, it has changed a lot over the last 30 years. The high street seems to be quite vibrant, certainly better than 10 years ago
it was a dirty and run down area and felt a little unsafe, although there were some nice restaurants and clothes shops around- such as Peacock, Prezzo, Starbucks etc.
