"Great views of the bridge paid for early check in so was great to access the room before heading to the theatre. The food and the staff in The Arch on Shenley Road are superb. Make sure you are hungry because the portions are generous!

The hotel is in Elstree, not Borehamwood. Borehamwood is horrible, but there is beautiful countryside nearby.

I was born there, it has changed a lot over the last 30 years. The high street seems to be quite vibrant, certainly better than 10 years ago

it was a dirty and run down area and felt a little unsafe, although there were some nice restaurants and clothes shops around- such as Peacock, Prezzo, Starbucks etc.
