Our children loved every minute and stayed happily busy. **Family-Friendly** Super clean and safe – none of the kids got sick. Pools and beach were the highlights; we barely used the room (minor issues there didn't bother us at all). **Small Notes** Check-in is slow (mostly paper-based), and dinner reservations can be tough for non-premium members – book early! Vegetarians have fewer buffet options, but overall food is great. **Tip** Bring $1 bills for tipping – staff appreciate it! The positives far outweigh any minor cons. "The staff here are AMAZING!! We originally booked elsewhere and had so many issues that we ended our last 5 nights at Melia Caribe and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly and really want to make your stay great. We arrived at almost 11pm and they placed us vip, room near the ocean and happily welcomed us at that time of night. Food was good but what makes this place amazing is there is something for the kids to do the whole day! Water park during the day, playstations for the kids, game room and a separate play place you take a shuttle to for miniature golf, rope climbing. Nightlife was always going on. Although resort needs some upgrading i would gladly come back for the staff and endless things to do for my son. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one! We are so grateful to the staff and will be back in a few months! My son loves it so much and didn't want to leave! Thank you again for everything!"
