Excellent stay. The studio was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional throughout my stay. I have stayed at RESA Campus del Mar before and have always had a positive experience. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it.

A very clean, well presented hotel centrally located for access to the Metro via Liceu (L3) and La Rambla with lots of sights within walking distance or a short metro ride away. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hostal Grau.
The hotel is decorated so well throughout and is very clean.
Also in a great central location, only a few minutes walk to La Rambla and metro stations.
There are a couple of lovely communal areas to sit and chill, read, play cards etc.
There is also the rooftop terrace with honesty bar which was great - a sun trap when the sun was out! And another lovely area to sit and read, with a drink.
Breakfast was lovely - a really good selection and the staff...

Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Basic room but that is to be expected and had everything we needed. Room was clean. Some loud residents in the room next door to us but this was managed by staff as appropriate.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. The location is central - just 5 minutes' walk from the Liceu station. The staff are friendly and helpful; the room is very basic - just a bed, en-suite shower room, safe, and space for hanging and storing clothes - but always spotlessly clean. Don't expect any luxuries, just a simple comfortable place to rest and relax.

Great location in the heart or the Gothic area. It is in easy reach of most places of interest for reasonably active people, if not use the hop on off bus. We stayed in a superior double room. Although not the largest it was well decorated, spotlessly clean with a great shower facility. It has the added bonus of having a free breakfast which should satisfy the average traveler. The front desk staff were pleasant and most helpful, especially Natalia who kindly printed off our boarding passes.Would...

Location is perfect close to beach and mainstreets.
It's the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. They have a lot of cleaning people, cleaning kitchen, toilets and shower rooms regularly.
I really appreciated this as I was nervous to stay in a hostel because I like clean toilets/showers.
The beds were comfortable and have privacy curtains on each bunk and your own bed light, 1electric socket, 2 usb charging connectors.
A lot of space in the kitchen to cook and store some food in the cupboards...

We had a very comfortable night at Mare Nostrum. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Mare Nostrum was a lucky find and we will certainly book them when we next visit Barcelona.

Really nice hotel, really friendly staff. I stayed with my son for a few nights in summer and felt very safe both in the hotel and local area. Short walk to the city centre, good amenities and public transport nearby, very affordable and felt quite high end for the budget. Would recommend and stay again

Was really helpful in an emergency as my original flight home was delayed and I had to sort out two nights somewhere, this was a pretty cheap option but the place and facilities were really well kept.
I hadn’t stayed in a hostel and shared room before but circumstances meant I couldn’t be picky, but the others in my room were friendly and no problem at all. I slept pretty well.
