"Stayed at The Soho Grand many times and is still my favourite hotel in NYC. Super well located, decent sized rooms (for New York!) and the staff are always great. Bar is very lively at the weekend, so keep in mind if not your thing. Would highly recommend."

"Stayed at the Best Western during a recent trip and honestly couldn’t have asked for better value in New York City. The standout was definitely the room size—easily one of the biggest hotel rooms I’ve had in NYC, which made the stay way more comfortable. It’s a no-frills pet-friendly hotel, but everything was clean, functional, and easy—no unnecessary extras, just a solid place to stay. The location is another huge plus—right in SoHo, about a five-minute walk to the subway—incredibly convenient. For the price, this place is hard to beat. If you’re looking for space, a great location, and strong value for money without paying for luxury you don’t need, this is a great option."

"The staff were really helpful. Helping us check in and booking us transport to JFK at the end of our stay. The only thing I would say is it should be made clearer that if you have a king bed with city view there is not all round access to the bed. When you are both over 60, one with a broken hand, it was not easy having to crawl to get out of the bed."

"Pros: The location, hotel appearance, hotel staff and size of the room. Cons: In an 8th floor street-front room which had a toilet which drained off and on, could also hear other people from either other rooms or the hallway. And from the time we returned from dinner until we checked out in the morning ,we heard non-stop noise from construction and deliveries making it difficult to sleep. Learned our lesson, the price may have been better for NYC, but we won’t be back."
