Beachside Motel

"Beachside Motel is a good little hotel for the money right on the beach. Not a luxury stay, but clean with hot shower for those who simply want to spend most of their time on the beach or sight-seeing, and just want a hot shower and a clean comfortable bed to sleep in. The motel has been around a long time, uses old fashioned metal keys and has been kept up relatively well. Most of the units do not face the beach, but if you want to spend a little more money for an ocean view, the two units upstairs on the end would be the best on the property with the bottom two units having a view of the sand dunes. The last night we were there it was unusually windy and the deck chairs were blowing against the building, keeping my husband up. I sleep through just about anything, I heard it but went right back to sleep. Staff was nice and ice machine worked great. Coffee provided with coffee maker in room, not so good. Great coffee at Holy Grounds on left before exiting the island! One more thing, unless I must missed it, I couldn't find a microwave but unit had a fridge."

"Very convenient location. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good and offered many options. My only complaint was the musty smell in the room. It was very strong and unpleasant."

"Wonderful, quiet solo stay here at Elizabeth Pointe. I will absolutely be coming back. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved that I was right on the beach and that they had chairs and umbrella for guests to lay out. The porch was nice to sit out and watch the sunrise or sunset. I enjoyed the breakfast which is included by the way. I will be returning for a stay here and recommend this beautiful place to anyone."
