Great place to stay. Nice rooms and couldn’t be better located.

Positives? Too many to mention. Negatives? Only one... the funny water smell, however this is something all residences suffer from in Iceland (due to the geothermal water supply) The staff were especially helpful, having a garage was very helpful and despite the central location very easy to drive to. Wife and daughter loved it too. Would stay here again 10/10

The hotel’s location was excellent and it had an elegant feel to it! Staff were very friendly and also welcoming too. Our room was upgraded on arrival also. I’d definitely recommend staying here to other travellers!

We had a fabulous time here. Room was clean and had everything provided you could possibly need. Breakfast was amazing- ample for breakfast ans snacks for lunch too! I don’t think we ever managed to finish it on any of the days we stayed! Check in was seamless with all the info we needed. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Staff in the hotel were all pleasant and helpful, and rooms were nice and comfortable. I opted not to eat in the restaurant as I thought I'd be pushed for time to have breakfast before some of the organised tours starting at 8am, and generally decided to eat elsewhere in Reykjavik for dinner. Location wise, it's a quiet road just at the eastern edge of downtown, so just a few minutes walk away from various shops and restaurants. Lovely, small hotel. Rooms modern, stylish, very warm and wonderfully clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive - nothing was too big or small for their kind attention, efficient. Continental breakfast plentiful and fresh, tea and coffee available in small but stylish lounge 24/7. I want to go back in the summer and will book this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to all my friends.

The most amazing hotel / suite apartment you can stay at. Amazing views, amazing staff who look after every detail and care for you whilst staying here. Amazing food and drinks and breakfast delivered to you room everyday. Just perfect! And once again the staff a just sublime/amazing. Thank you for taking care of us. Highly highly recommend!

The Lighthouse is excellent for a one-night stay-over before or after a Keflavik flight. It is about 14 minutes by car to the airport. It is in a very quiet area at the end of the Gardur peninsula. If the hotel restaurant is fully booked, as it was when we stayed, there is another within walking distance (wild and windy weather notwithstanding) - the Rostin. Lovely cozy B&B. The owner was friendly. Very close to a little square with restaurants & a only couple of minutes walk to bus stop 1 where you pick up tour buses.

Johanna who runs the apartments was the most helpful person ever, she went above and beyond I cannot thank her enough. The apartments were modern, spacious, clean & had everything you need such as cooking facilities which is a must in Iceland how expensive eating out is. A supermarket and bakery is across the road also a pizza takeaway. If you forget anything there is a box in reception to help you out. All the staff were Great answers all our questions.Our Hotel room was a nice size & clean.Breakfast was fine wished the Orange Juice would have been freshly squeezed rather than out of a machine. We went on a few Trips that were Fantastic like the Flyover theatre & The Perlan Museum that we both Enjoyed. Iceland is an expensive place to visit. Eating out was pricey The Taxis were very Expensive

The views and amenities for this place are amazing. The apartment had absolutely everything you could want. The host was very happy to show us around and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was just the "icing on the cake" for us - many thanks. I have never slept in such a comfy bed!! I would highly recommend both apartment & location x

A lovely hotel, centrally located on Laugevegur. Although we’d emailed ahead to pay for early check in, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room and explore the city. Laugevegur is a pedestrian street in the part where the hotel is so it isn’t possible to be picked up or dropped off directly outside. The bus stop for Flybus (and tour pick ups) is number 14 at the bottom of a reasonably steep hill - getting the suitcases up was a challenge...

Comfortable and clean hotel in a good location, within easy walking distance of the harbour and town, and a few minutes away from the bus stop for excursion pick ups. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Hotel was picturesque, clean, located nearer the harbour part of town which meant it was quiet, but near enough to use the bus or walk into town. Small grocery shop next door. Property also had a cafebar within. Reception staff were helpful. More of a place for adults, but you could say that about the whole city.

The stylish and welcoming hotel is ideally situated in the city centre. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They booked us day trips and gave advice on things to do and where to eat. Won't hesitate to come back as the hotel made our holiday.
