"The hotel is located in three converted houses in downtown Reykjavik, the rooms are therefore small but not claustrophobic. The location is excellent and close to all the restaurants and nightlife. The stop #1 for all tours is half a block away. Staff is friendly and helpful and problem solvers. The restaurant open early for breakfast and has a cozy bar for a couple of drinks. An excellent choice if you visit Reykjavik. "

"Third time staying at CenterHotel Miðgarður and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff are genuinely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. Love this hotels location and is only a few minutes walk to the city centre and great local restaurants. Will definitely stay here again."

"Hotel is ideally placed for exploring Reykjavík with most destinations an easy walking distance. The hotel itself is exceptionally decorated and really feels high end when you walk in, amenities were excellent it had everything you could need and our room was spacious, warm and spotlessly clean. We really loved this hotel and the staff were welcoming. Be aware that parking is a little tricky there is paid parking very close by to drop bags off etc but we found it tricky to find a space we ended up parking a 10min walk away in a multi storey car park which was good, safe and secure but just be aware if you have lots of luggage! We also felt breakfast had a good selection but was quite expensive for what it was compared to breakfast costs at some of the other hotels we stayed at over our 10 day trip. "

"The room had a really nice cosy feel to it and felt spacious. We loved the balcony from which we saw the Northern lights. The bathroom had a good shower and lovely L'Occitane toiletries. Staff on reception were super friendly and helpful. The highlight for us was the breakfast which had plenty of choice and delicious coffee and sourdough which we have not stopped talking about! The Starbucks was handy in reception. We only saw afterwards that we would have got a discount by showing our room key - would have been good if this was notified to us on arrival. Location fantastic - close to bus stops for the airport and tours and walkable to everything. We didn't find it noisy as on the quieter end of the main street. The only downside was the bed - the mattress was pretty lumpy and hard and could have done with being replaced. "

"Clean, warm, comfortable room. In fact, so warm we had to open windows, even after turning the heating down. The view was superb, probably the best in Reykjavik. The only constructive criticism might be that there was nowhere to hang clothes, but there was ample space to leave both suitcases open, so not a big deal."
