"This is a lovely hotel. The staff are professional and friendly. It is right across the street from a courtyard which is adjacent to many restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, one night of our stay, one of the bars was having a very loud open air party. it was so loud that our 5th floor room was vibrating. The party did end at midnight. The hotel has a lovely spa area with an indoor pool, steam room and sauna."

"Great little hotel, overlooking the ocean/ocean walk; 10 minute walk to 'downtown' Reykjavik. Staff friendly & helpful. Carpet in room needs cleaning/replacement, and hairdryer overheats & shuts off quickly, but these are minor issues. Would recommend. "

"We had an excellent experience at this property. Communication was clear, location was great. It was a convenient and a good value. I loved the two beds/2 bath unit for my family of 5 (3 teens) and the unique daily breakfast basket was a highlight."

"The staff at reception were very welcoming and extremely helpful! Overall, the hotel was clean and quiet, with plenty of food and shopping nearby. The morning of our departure, our ride to the airport had to cancel last minute, but reception was quickly able to secure a new van for our large group and held our luggage in a secure room while we walked around Reykjavik. Overall, a very nice stay!"

"Hotel Fron was perfect for our stopover in Iceland. The location was lively w many eating and shopping options. We had a car and was able to park close by in a parking garage when street parking wasn’t available. The staff was very friendly and do helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was some street noise, but nothing that kept us awake or lasted for extended periods. "
