Property was great and included cooking facilities and washing machine/drier. Host Reggie was very friendly and gave us great local knowledge.

I do not have enough positive things to say about this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was beautiful with great facilities, as well as being on a bus route into the centre of town. I would happily return and recommend.

Room was comfortable, simple check-in and checkout and communication was superb. Also appreciated the completely water and snacks in the room.

Pleasant staff, comfortable room, good temperature and quiet. I was surprised I couldn't leave my luggage prior to check-in as the luggage room was full, but this didn't cause me too much angst. Would recommend and stay again if in Alkmaar

Staying at this hotel was an incredible and unique experience! The way the old prison has been transformed into a modern hotel is absolutely brilliant. The historic atmosphere is preserved perfectly, and the clean rooms are very comfortable. The staff is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with duties, but they work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to keep the atmosphere and everything else perfect. Both the breakfast and parking options were excellent. Highly recommended!

The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. I really want to say I kind thank you to the staff at the Hendrix. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing very helpful very knowledgeable and very attentive all the things you need when you just need a nice rest. It is a small hotel and the facilities are just right and just close enough/far away enough, from the busy stuff. I would definitely stay again.

Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. My second time staying here - great location if you want to be in the centre along one of the canals. Interesting streets, restaurants and cafes all around. lovely comfortable rooms. A free drink from the bar is a very nice touch - the barman knows his G&Ts. I will definitely go back.
