"We were offered a room upgrade for £25 extra before travelling to a deluxe family room. When we got into the room it was far from deluxe! One of the licks on the hotel door was missing as was the lock on the bathroom door. There was no extraction fan in the bathroom and during the day water started seeping up through the bathroom tiles. The bedroom window didn't shut and despite being a family room there were only 2 of everything. The meal in the restaurant wasn't great and the shuttle bus was very hit and miss. We ended up walking with our cases. All in all a very very disappointing experience. I would not recommend."

"Great hotel, located in the city center, which has excellent room, friendly staff and even free breakfast. I stayed here with my daughter, and it was really the perfect location. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were excellent. The breakfast wasn't just muffins and biscuits and fruit, it was a full hot English breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, breads and jams, plus cereals and hot coffee and tea. Highly recommended in downtown Manchester!"
