"This hotel is fine for the price. There isn't much to do in Alleppey outside of the houseboat tours, so choice of location wasn't really an issue. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The rooms were very small, but we were only there for one night, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. My only real complaint was the WiFi, which was terrible and never worked in the room. However, the restaurant was fantastic and I wish we could have eaten more meals there! If we ever came back to Alleppey,...

"After a bumpy local bus from Erakleum we were happy to wonder around Aleeppy town and eventually arrived at Bamboo lagoon reception counter. What happens next we cannot say... much laughter... Lovely home cooked food with all the spices of Kerala. Lovely friendly staff that made the trip a little greater. Relaxing sunsets whist watching the house boats go by."

"At first instance it seems to be little orthodox and unsafe at night for lonely couple. However, atmosphere is eclectic. Property is well maintained housing good restaurant, swimming pool, rooms with AC and wooden furniture and walls. Open bathroom is its uniqueness. Hotel reception is quite helpful in booking auto to ferry to city center as the resort is little away from the town. "

"The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. That may seem harsh but really, they were calling us regularly to ask mundane questions such as where we might travel to next. The wifi worked...10% of the time? The restaurant was terrible. If this was a home stay we completely would have understood but this was bad. None of the rickshaw drivers had a clue where this place was either. 'Sketchy' Defines this place to a 'T'."
