My first time in Cairo was met with an exceptional hotel. Clean, modern upscale. Kind and helpful staff. Views of the (distant) pyramids. PHENOMINAL breakfast buffet -gotta sample the eggplant! Given the opportunity, I would happily stay again.

6 October City is approx 45 mins from Cairo International Airport depending on traffic during the day it could be longer if busy. This is a newly built area. The Hilton hotel also included a golf course & swimming pool area to relax. Excellent.
I have been doing business with Egypt for many years (>30 years) in Alexandria > Sadat City > 10th Ramadan City > Suez and Cairo. For me 6th October is a well laid out city and progressive! If I had to live in Egypt I would choose 6th October.
If you know Cairo ,and you have done the history and experienced City life. As long as work is this side of Cairo, then it is a quieter, more relaxed place to stay.
