"After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. "It was clean. It is like a tiki hut. No wifi, no tv. Updated bathroom. They had a nice private plunge pool. They came and took dinner order. It took awhile to get dinner, but they are walking up mountain. It is not for anyone who can't do a lot of stairs. I would have liked a blanket on the bed and hot water. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and the person they are with. "

"Hay ratas.. "La Negra" como le dicen a la persona responsable del lugar, brilla por su ausencia. Cuando le dijimos que había ratas en la habitacion nos dijo que ella iba a solucionarlo y despues no la vimos mas hasta que nos fuimos. Quisimos tomar algo en el "bar" del lugar y nos dijeron que no tenian nada, que fueramos a otro. Un desastre!!"

This Photo was taken on Isla Grande Rosario off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. This is my Wife Kenda, getting up close and personal with one of these beautiful Peacocks! The Island Resort was pretty nice for the price!!! $100 per person per day including the boat ride there and back, 5 meals a day!!! and all the drinks you can handle from 10 am to 9pm! It was our first all inclusive! Enjoy. #patterns
