“Would certainly go back just to enjoy the Spa”
Took a friend to this Hotel for a Birthday treat. She/we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. All staff we friendly. Only downside was the long walk to Sloane Square Station. Which was not clearly signposted.
“A new location in London”
This is a superbly located new hotel which should be an excellent stay, once everything is sorted after the official opening on March the 1st. Then it all depends how they price it... Highly recommended.
“Living it up South of the River”
I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Booked a standard double room through Expedia, got given a room on the Executive floor. Modern, without being achingly hip, well-furnished and had great views of London (Battersea Power Station, the Thames, London Eye, HoP, St Pauls and beyond). Battersea Park on the door and Chelsea only a short walk away. Kings Road is excellent for the shoppers among you. Rooms kept beautifully by the cleaning staff, bed very comfy as was the white (yes white!) leather sofa. Bathroom was something else - bath looked fun (a sloping back to recline whilst reading I guess but I opted for the rain-shower every time. Bliss! Pool was superb (a decently swimmable 15m I think) and quiet but I'm not a fan of walking around hotels in my dressing gown and there was no proper changing room. Only real negative was the lack of atmosphere in the bar. Very bland and bar staff not that great. As would be expected, drinks not cheap but there are enough nice bars and pubs over the river to frequent if you want to make a night of it. Free wi-fi would have been good but not a big deal really. Definitely would go again, a real treat.
“Very impressed”
A new hotel, ( we stayed in the pre -opening period for 2 nights) had only been open 4 nights, so swimming pool/spa not in use yet, no kettle in room (still installing in some rooms), but was more than made up by complimentary room service for drinks. Room/bathroom was very nice, big and lovey decor, all the staff we came across all very polite etc. When fully finished it should be a very nice 4*. Would go back no problem.
“New and modern Pestana Chelsea Bridge”
The Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel was newly opened about 2months before our stay, which meant that the hotel was very new, modern and contemporary, exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were good sized and well furnished, and even came with an exercise bike. There's also a unique feature of a window between the bedroom and bath/shower room, which when lit by the blue LEDs making for interesting viewing. Booking via Expedia meant it was good value for money, shame it doesn't include breakfast, which was steep. We instead opted for the 10min walk across Chelsea Bridge to Kings Road and had a full breakfast for nearly half the price. I'd requested a top floor room with a view of the park, and the staff did their best to meet this. Although the hotel is on the side next the the railway and Battersea power station. So the only way we got a view of the park was in between the neighbouring tower blocks. Room comfort was great, but only let down as I'm fussy with the pillows. I'd definitely recommend it to friends, and would even consider revisiting.
“Great hotel!”
Will definitely be going back next year and for a longer break. Nice pavements for a run. Convenient, within walking distance of Victoria, though taxis right outside. Nice restaurants close. Lovely walk across Chelsea bridge in the evening. Breakfast only problem: considered expensive at approx. £15 each so went elsewhere, but sister is a student so I was paying!
“Excellent hotel but be prepared to travel”
The hotel was located on the outskirts of Chelsea and was a well maintained, well designed hotel. More like a 5* and better quality than some of those more central. We preferred to have a nice place to rest and then travel by bus or tube or walk around London. Bit far from tube 20-30 minute walk so would recommend bus outside the hotel to Victoria. We travelled via vauxhall and then walked but bit too far walking with luggage. We only spoke to staff on a couple of occasions but they were very pleasant. Good size room and modern decoration. Read on the reviews about a river view. It was a side view of river but mainly overlooking an old mill and train line. I would recommend a room facing the park/hotel entrance. We could hear the trains passing in the night. Surrounding the hotel is Battersea park and few offices. We didnt see any restaurants or bars in the close area. We walked along the river to Chelsea restaurants which took around 15 minutes.
“Good place to stay”
Good hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff, nice pool, good room, great location for what I needed. On the slightly downside, not exactly high on the value for money, rates changed whilst booking and it seems that I paid a rate that should have included a breakfast, but was excluded from the booking, but there is a very good greasy spoon by the station anyway.
“Excellent Hotel”
Lovely hotel and well situated, easy access to tube and train stations. Close to Sloan Square
“fantastic place”
This is the most comfortable and good service I have seen ever, all stuffs are new, has a good location.
