“Very nice”
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay is an apartment style hotel situated at very close proximity to the main Mandalay Bay facilities. The suite we had was very nice, with luxury touches like good quality toiletries, robe, slippers and a massive bath that could easily accommodate two and it also had two toilets (one for me and one for my husband!) We were on the 13th floor and got good views of the mountains and outlying areas of Vegas. I imagine if you had a suite on the other side you would fab views of the strip. The Mandalay Bay is fairly far south on the strip but there is the monorail to take you up to the Luxor which saves your feet a bit. Not a problem since we don't mind walking. We only had an overnight stay here before going home, and it is very convenient for the airport. Al in all a very nice stay would definitely return.
“excellent...”
excellent...service and staff very good and helpful...rooms spacious, clean and well furnished...restaurants and food were excellent...gaming room adequate except some of the staff and management on the tables and in the pit left a lot to be desired...some of them about 30% were ignorant and very rude ...this problem must be addressed because it spoils an otherwise excellent hotel and holiday experience.
“Best Vegas Trip yet!”
I've been to Vegas several times now, staying in different hotels, and have to say "THE Hotel" at Mandalay Bay has been the best yet. The suites were large, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious. Fantastic! The Mandalay Bay resort is split into three hotels, the Mandalay Bay, THE Hotel, and The Four Seasons. If you can't afford the Four Seasons, but want luxury without breaking the bank, you can't go wrong with THE Hotel. My one negative is that there isn't a great deal of shade around the pool areas, so you need to get up early if you do want to get a shady spot (i.e. get to the pool before 9am). If needing shade isn't an issue for you - there are plenty of beds so I don't think you would have too much trouble finding somewhere later in the day if you aren't an early riser. The Mandalay Bay complex is at one end of the strip so you do have some travel involved when you want to go to shows, or visit other hotels on the strip - but there is a free Tram between the Mandalay Bay, Luxor & Excaliber, or there is a great bus service called The Deuce where you can buy a 24 hour pass for around $7 & hop on & off all along the strip wherever you want. All the major hotels & shopping centres have stops outside, so its really easy to get around if you dont feel like the walk. There is so much more to vegas than gambling - with all the shows on offer you can do or see somthing different every day, I would highly recommend it!
“Great Hotel & Location”
only draw back are the hookers that hang around the entrance and lobby around midnight! Not impressed about that, otherwise the hotel was great.
“Amazing”
This place is absolutely awesome! The quality of the rooms was great and you cannot beat the service. I loved it so much, i'm nearly ready to book in again for next year!!
“By far, one of the best places to in Vegas!”
I couldn't fault this hotel, not one bit. We enjoyed everything. The service, the opulent decor, the friendly staff, the wave machine pool, and sandy poolside beaches! The restaurants in the hotel were mouth watering, I loved them all, but my favourite had to be STRIPSTEAK. Divine...... I can't wait to go there again, and when I do, I won't stay anywhere but TheHotel, Mandalay Bay.
“Excellent Hotel”
what can I say - great hotel in a great location. ask for a view onto the Strip - amaxing at night!!
“An oasis in Vegas!”
Visited THEhotel for one week in Sept as a large party to celebrate our wedding. The service was excellent from the start, all staff were helpful. We visit Vegas annually and this was one of the best. It is within easy reach of the main mandalay bay complex but away enough to find some peace from the crowds. THEhotel does not have its own casino so was very tranquil with a lovely lobby bar- a great way to start and end our evenings. We would recommend Lupo Italian restaurant in Mandalay Bay and MIX nightclub for a taste of Vegas nightlife on the 64th floor. The other highlight was the beach at mandalay. Try and rent a cabana for the day- it comes fully stocked with drinks/towels/tv etc and there are bar staff to provide you with food/drink all day. This was especially useful at the weekends as the pool gets very crowded. Would definitely visit again.
“Brilliant hotel, one of the best in Vegas”
Definitely one of my favourite hotels in Vegas. High quality room, service good.
“We had a superb time and would love to go back and do it all again.”
The hotel was fantastic and our stay was most enjoyable from start to finish.
