Clean room and nice breakfast however rooms are small, lifts are small and slow to respond

Excellent hotel for our honeymoon in London! We loved the property, people and location!

This is a very attractive small hotel in the busy area of Kensington. We had many buses to chose from that run past Harrod's or to museums or other things we wanted to visit. This is a big plus to us as we use buses to not only save a fortune, but to see cities as we get around. The concierge was very helpful, and helped us figure out that in the end it was going to be worth it to take a cab to the airport, for example, and called those cabs for us. Downstairs there is a really nice small restaurant with very good Italian food and good service. Breakfast was also served there and had a good selection and good service. The feel of the hotel is slightly old style, comfortable furniture and lovely decoration. I especially like the older style, as many notels in Europe have moved to a kind of black and grey and chrome look. This hotel made us feel as if we were in traditional historic London, and had the look and feel of a charming place to stay with tradition but of course modern amenities. Can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful room, a little smaller than the picture suggests. Very nice staff. Great location near Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, and Albert Hall. Lots of English character. Very clean and well-maintained hotel, I would stay here again.

Great location for sightseeing in London, also a fantastic view from the hotel of Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. Rooms were a good size and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was clean and functional though in need of an update - this was more cosmetic than anything else. The bar in the hotel was great too. Would definitely return to this hotel if we were staying in London again.
