Quintana Roo Kid friendly Holidays

We loved the customer service, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast. However, there are several issues that the hotel needs to address. The food at the buffet was not the best. I understand that we probably visited during the beginning of the slow season, and the kitchen staff was new. I believe they should receive proper training before handling guest orders. Another issue was with the front desk; they never had change available to give back, either in dollars or Mexican pesos, which was inconvenient. We have stayed at Solaris two times now, and honestly, this time was not the best. I would like to give five stars to the housekeeping team members and the servers in the restaurants for their excellent service.also 5 stars to Hermelina the lady that works by the pool making pizzas.. they were amazing.

Only complaint was it was impossible to get reservations at La Vista. No matter how early I checked it always said unavailable.

Loved staying here! Heated pools and beautiful beaches! Included kayaks and we had a blast! Breakfast was my favorite and I loved the buffets at every meal plus the specialty restaurants! Lovely staff who remember my family and baby and gave us family treatment! Will definitely return

The staff overall was what made the stay very enjoyable. Always willing to help. One server stood out, Tello, super helpful and charismatic. Also, a chef, Xavi, was so sweet and replaced a lost straw with a cute cup and note. Facilities are what need updating.

Great service and great place for family vacation. Will go back again

Most everything was enjoyable. The aweful condition of the Gulf is nothing the resort had control over. I didn't appreciate having to pay an additional stipend ($68 per day) to cover "sewage". It was very awkward, not to mention predatory (hidden fees upon arrival).....because if I had declined, we would have been homeless in Cancun for a week, despite my already completed monitary contribution to the resort. This should really be disclosed CONSPICUOUSLY before getting my payment information for the reservation. The only other issue was not being able to eat at all the restaurants because I had to wait til 9am to make a reservation, which I didn't have a problem with, but there was a certain class that had advanced access. So when 9am came, I would attempt to make a reservation but instead I got a screen letting me know that there were no more reservations available.

Highly recommend this family friendly, all inclusive spot! We were able to book a family photo shoot on the beach with the art department within the resort!
