"Great room, was large with comfortable bed, quiet and with lovely views. Room also had real coffee, a fridge and AC. The only disappointment that I found strange was that the hotel bar and restaurant didn’t overlook the sea. To have a hotel turn its back on its main asset (the beachside location) was annoying. Surely would benefit from turning the ballroom into a bar or restaurant!! Staff all pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine, good value but nothing special"

"Great location for the centre of Canterbury and access to the cathedral, shops and green spaces. Air-conditioning in room a bit noisy, but otherwise room met our needs. Ideally a coffee machine in the room would be better and a mini-bar. What we didn't like was the fact that we had booked a continental breakfast, but you could only order one item from a menu, and coffee/juice and the buffet offered was only cereal and fruit. Not sure how this is continental as would have expected pastries/croissants, yoghurt, meats/cheeses etc."

"The room was clean and reasonably decorated. The staff were welcoming and polite. The breakfast was good. There is no evening restaurant but this is not a problem as there are a large number of restaurants a short walk away. The hotel is well situated for all the towns attractions but benefits for being just off the High Street (which can be very busy). Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again."

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection to start the day, and the overall experience was great value for money. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay without the extras, this is a solid choice."
