"The room was not as pictured and we were placed in a basement room. It was clean, but the only view was of car tires."

"The staff is absolutely amazing! They go above and behind to help everyone with kindness and patience. The property isim need of some repairs. All of the lifts were down. The gentlman checking people in was offering to carry everyone's luggage up the stairs for them. There are 4 flights! The water in our shower wouldn't turn on but the sink was fine. So, we were given access to an additional room to shower. The staff makes up the difference for the needed repairs."

"Decent room but bathroom needs improvement We recently stayed at Rocksalt Rooms in Folkestone. The room itself was comfortable and nicely appointed – we had no issues there and enjoyed the location right by the harbour. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a real letdown for a longer stay. The shower left the floor and toilet completely soaked every time, and the sink was far too tiny, which made daily routines awkward. These issues made the bathroom impractical, especially given the wet-room style setup."

"I was a bit disappointed with Premier Inn based on this stay. We arrived at 2pm, an hour early for check in but a reasonable time you would think. They wanted to charge us £15 to check in early, implying the room was ready anyway, so that was just profiteering. We felt we'd paid a lot already, although in fairness it was bank holiday weekend. This hotel is clearly populated by people crossing the channel, not staying more than one night as we did. The room was rather basic and a bit drab, two bath towels but only one face towel between two of us and they only made up the room if asked, then half-heartedly. The bed seemed a bit on the small side but adequate and comfortable. On the plus side there were plentiful supplies of coffee, tea and milk in reception and the fan in the room was welcome in the hot weather."
