"Such a beautiful building very very poorly maintained the first room we were in had plaster falling from the wall and smashed tiles in the bathroom. They changed our room and that was much nicer but still poorly maintained. The gardens are amazing and very well maintained! The bar staff didn’t know what drinks were (aperol) and was only saved by a very nice F&B manager! Dinner was great however breakfast was terrible with a long queue after being told to book for 09.30 we stood in line for 20 mins and no table was available then no pastries at all and asked if I would like toast after my breakfast arrived. Reception was not manned in the morning and the person manning reception when he had clearly returned from his cigarette wasn’t helpful at all! In summary a lovely location building and grounds with some to the worst Maintenece I’ve seen in years and I travel globally every week and totally understaffed with the trained and the untrained!!"

"These rooms are directly above a public House/Bar. That plays very loud music going on until 1.00am in the morning. The tap in room was hanging off the sink. And everything was shaking in the room when the loud music and the crowds of people down below were making noise. I would definitely not recommended anyone staying here in the future. Pay the extra and get a decent room in nearby hotels"
