"Cute house. However it's very outdated. The carpet is old and has wear and stains, the furnitureis also really old. Found a few spider webs and last the sofas and cooking wear are old. With that said the house is spacious and in a safe quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room at the front and back of the house. "
"Small and safe place to stay. The place is not fancy but the room was clean, bed comfortable and good size for one night as a couple. Has a nice place outside to have some time in nature. Quiet place to relax. I would come back if you need something affordable just to sleep in after long walks runs and be around the city. "

"I loved this property and will certainly return next time I visit Big Bear! That said, they were definitely unstaffed which led to some not so great service. When we first arrived at 7pm we had to wait almost an hour to check in because the front desk agent was on her dinner break. I totally understand everyone needs a break but there should definitely be a manager to cover breaks! It was a Friday night and the property was definitely busy. Then when we got to the room, the keypad didn’t work so we had to call and get that sorted out. Then I tried to get a breakfast sandwich and was told that the employee who makes them called out sick and no one could cover. It just seemed so odd to me that twice in a two night stay it was clear that they need more help.
That said, the property was beautiful, the rooms very clean and nice and the food was delicious! "

"There was an issue with check in that was likely a combination of issues between the hotel and Expedia that clearly had frustrated the hotel employees and guests as generally tensions were elevated during check in and it was not the most pleasant experience but it was able to be resolved. The AC was not working in the entire hotel and it was a hot weekend though it cooled down pretty well at night and was quiet enough to keep the windows open. The hotel location is great! Very walkable to things and ample parking which was appreciated. Generally pleasant stay. "
"This was an August visit, so the weather was on the warm side (not hot). It would have been nice to have a/c to sleep better at night. The furniture is very dated but in decent shape and the room was clean. A small coffee place is within easy walking distance across the street. I consider it a good value and would stay there again. I recommend it to others if you do not need anything fancy."
