Review of SureStay Plus By Best Western Woodbury Inn Pending reviewReviewed I stayed at this hotel for a wedding at the nearby Country Club and chose it largely because it was less than 5 minutes away. We stayed on the second floor on the backside of the building. Check-in was relatively easy. The room is a bit outdated and cramped, but everything looks fine. The TV is very laggy and you need to log into your own accounts to access streaming services (which are not automatically deleted when you leave as i've noticed hotels are trending towards). Some negatives - There is painting/construction going on outside the room, so that created noise during the day. I also didn't see any elevators, so I did have to carry my bag up the stairs (It was pretty full with wedding things, so it was a pain then and when I had heels on for the wedding). Finally, my fiance checked out the free breakfast provided and said it was mostly pastries and the like, so no hot food. I'd give it a solid 3 for serving its purpose and being nothing fancy.

Pet friendly room was clean and bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels in place on check in. Bed was made up nicely with spotlessly white linens. TV worked very well with plenty of channels. WiFi worked good with easy sign on. Desk and chair was adequately large enough. Unit also had 2 end tables and lamps and dresser with drawers, with plenty of outlets. Fridge and microwave worked good. Hair dryer, ironing board and luggage rack was in unit and looked to be in good condition. Plenty of places to walk the dog. GREAT buffet breakfast, with pastries, cereal, bagels, coffee tea juice etc. Staff was pleasant and accomodating.

The rooms had bugs. the blankets had rips in them. The front desk didnt seem to take anything serious. Their "Breakfast" was a joke, something you can get at a gas station. More of a Low type of Hotel. would not recommend EVER TO ANYONE. Never stayed here, figured give it a try. Had some Hope for it to be a decent place, but unfortunately the reality was a nightmare

The property was fair at best. There wasn't many hotel choices in this particular area. The mattress was broken down, no firmness at all. The flooring (linoleum) was recently rolled and the glue job was not real good. As you walk on the floor you can feel and hear where the flooring glue did not stuck as it lifts ad lowers and snaps and pops under your feet as you walk around. When I walked bare foot on the floor, I picked up particles of some sort on the bottom of my feet and had to wipe them down before getting into bed or putting on my socks.

The room I was in was VERY small, almost no counter space in the bathroom; it's an older building; pretty spartan there. If you're trying to stay away from carbs, you're not going to be thrilled with the breakfast selection, although the woman who was in charge of that was SO friendly and helpful. I'm sorry I didn't get her name; she taught me how to make "perfect instant oatmeal," and it really was! The staff overall was nice, tremendous location for my purposes, convenient to major roads, and LOTS of dining options nearby. Thee's a really nice breakfast place that's walking distance. You could do worse for an overnight stay, but if I have to return to this area, I will look around at other locations.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff at the desk was very nice. Housekeeping ignored do not disturb signs outside our door every day. The floors were DISGUSTING. I wiped a towel on the floor and it was black. Won’t be staying again.

I stayed for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The room was relatively clean, however it had a strong smell of bleach that did not go away. Also, one of the pillows was soiled. I did not make a big deal, I just did not use it. Everything else was fine.
