The first night we checked in it was pretty late. By the time we were ready for bed (myself, my husband and daughter), we realized one of the beds was broken! It almost flipped over when my husband sat down on it. (Im so glad my baby girl wasn’t hurt by this bed). There were no other rooms at this time. In the morning we wanted to leave and get a refund. We reached out to Expedia first and they contacted the property. The property said they refused to give a refund and they didn’t have any other rooms. Well my husband went down and talked to someone at the desk. Again, they refused any refund (we only wanted it for the nights we didn’t want to use) but then all of a sudden they had another room, just minutes after they told Expedia they didn’t have any other rooms. On top of that, the hotel was dingy, falling apart, the elevators were horrible and I felt like I was going to get stuck in one each time. The walls are paper thin (yay for hearing neighbors all night long). The lights in both room hardly worked and the showers were nasty. I tried to do laundry and it was a disaster as well. I have stayed at a Red Roof before, but this was AWFUL! It was literally one of the only places around that had rooms while we were in town for a family emergency. This experience added to the stress of dealing with a dying family member. Please save yourself money and don’t stay here!
