"Another fantastic stay here. Every time I come back, I’m reminded why this place is one of my favorite hotels when I’m in town. There’s just something special about the atmosphere. The craftsmanship in the woodwork, the thoughtful layout, the books available to read, and the comfortable seating areas by the fireplace all make it feel welcoming and relaxed. The restaurant continues to be excellent, and the team here is truly top notch. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and happy to help with whatever you might need. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience their guests have. Places like this are becoming harder to find, hotels that have real character and people who take pride in what they do. That’s exactly what you feel here. I always look forward to staying here when I’m in town, and I appreciate the care and hospitality you consistently provide. Keep up the great work"

"In my 32 years of life, I have never had another guest try to access my room with a key card that was given from the front desk. Somehow guest services managed to check in, around 4am, another guest with my room number as I was staying at their property this past weekend. My 5-year-old daughter and I were terrified as we thought someone was there to break into our room while we slept. Although my valet parking was waived, I have yet to see a refund for my stay that was discussed with the manager. I will not be staying here again nor recommending this property to my family and/or friends. That is a HUGE safety issue for guests that I feel someone should be held accountable because the system should have shown I was checked in the previous night for the entire weekend."

"First and foremost, the staff are incredibly helpful, and housekeeping does their best to keep the rooms tidy. Unfortunately, the building itself is run down, the carpets are thread bare, and the furniture has seen better days. In spite of no smoking signs on door, there's a pervading smell of stale cigarettes and marijuana smoke. Each room has an air conditioning/heating unit that cannot be turned off, and runs continuously unless you unplug it. Good water pressure, but no elevators to the second gloor. To be fair, the parking lot is gate controlled, and it is very close to the airport. Most guests seem to be passenger in transit. "

"Large corner room with fab view (#603) incredible brunch, gorgeous lobby. Driftwood room is a storied bar with tons of atmosphere. Downtown locale was perfect for our two nights in Portland."
