"The Cambridge is a gem, so glad I found it. Location is very central for station and civic amenities and walking distance from proper pubs! It's in an older, quieter part of town so there is lots to see and decent places to eat. The rooms are just as good as Premier Inn (where I usually stay when in Huddersfield) and half the price. Parking underneath the hotel is fab and access will be much improved when the road works are finished."

"It is so central, the room was spacious, clean and well stocked. The continental breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff kept it topped up. Overall a good stay for a very good price ."

"A good budget hotel but there were a few issues. The shower didn’t clear properly, the room was cold (despite raising the temperature to 30c) and I was woken up by the fire alarm early on a Sunday (because someone had burned their toast in the breakfast room)."
