"Very thoughtful setting in the room were we stayed. Although it was a quiet day, we were informed that we're upgraded to a more expensive room.
One of the owners was there receiving us and is very friendly and helpful.
Little details in the room, including live flowers, snow that they love creating the best experience for guests.
Also had a nice chat at the breakfast time and with the checkout.
Felt like visiting a good friend."

Loved the Dorp’s quirkiness and overall atmosphere. The rooms and bed very comfortable and well equipped. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Modern, clean, well equipped with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. On the more expensive side though. I chose the hotel because it was closest to a conference venue.

We really enjoyed our stay with Zest, from lovely welcoming staff who greeted us with an ice cold drink when we were sweaty from a long plane ride, to a delicious breakfast, to a very comfortable room. The hotel is eco-conscious too so it's even better to know your stay is doing good by people and planet.

Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

We arrived early, hours before check-in, but the hotel were expecting us and made us feel very welcome, offering us a space to freshen up in before we ventured out to make the most of our one full day in Cape Town. Owner Michel was very friendly and helpful; he organised an airport transfer for us and recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance for dinner (Silk) and also which beach to visit (Clifton Fourth) the next morning before our afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth. The hotel is about 20 minutes by uber from the town which was perfect. Right by the beach and also an excellent 30 minute walk along the beach to the nearest town and bars. There is also a good restaurant/bar about 5 minutes round the corner. The hotel itself was brilliant. It is in a quiet residential area, very safe, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and everything was great. The food at breakfast was fantastic, as was the evening meals that we had. The chefs were very good. This was a...

This was an amazing place to stay during our time on Cape Town. The main thing that stands out is the staff, they are helpful beyond measure and will go above and beyond, with enthusiasm and personality. They genuinely care about their guests and will do whatever they can to help, including assisting in itineraries and bookings. From the security who helps you in the evening, to the guys that cook and serve you breakfast, to the gardener, to the guys that clean the room and front of house who...

Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

Beautiful hotel in every way. The staff are the best I've ever known. Nothing is too much trouble and they all have a very friendly manner. The Concierge staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. The Hotel is perfect for ease of trips around the Cape and is only 5 mins walk from the V & A Waterfront. If I had to think of one thing that I was disappointed in, it was that the pool was very small. No good for swimming, more of a plunge pool but still very relaxing. Food was wonderful. Our room was...
