Absolutely beautiful food! Superbly cooked and presented-reasonably priced. Huge portions. Room facilities excellent and helpful friendly staff. Very clean with everything you'd need and tastefully decorated. The mattress wasn't terrific and we informed reception the next morning and they apologised and said they'd take a look at it. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Just got back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely charming place to stay staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to the Center just a brief stroll down the lane would definitely come back to stay again. The dog loved it too

The room and grounds were excellent, in a very picturesque setting, with delicious food and great customer service.

The weather was extremely hot. Ridiculously hot. I think it was the hottest day in Oxfordshire for about thirty years, and it was more-or-less impossible to get the temperature in the room down to something reasonable. But with that sole exception, everything about the hotel was really very good indeed, and I would happily go there again. In fact we are considering going down there sometime cooler for a naughty weekend, maybe in the autumn when it's cooler.

Our stay at the Six Bells was perfect. We only booked for one night as we had a gig at Wasing, but had a fantastic stay. Staff and rooms were all lovely, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The hotel is 15 min from the city centre by bus. We stayed for two nights in the loft room and the view was beautiful. The shower exhaust fans in the building are a bit loud but otherwise, we had a lovely stay.

Perfect for solo traveller I had the large single room. Very comfortable and warm. Bar was good. Westons cider on pump which was perfect for me and the Indian food was excellent
