We love the location as close to restaurants, shopping and Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica Square. The place has an elevator (small but this is common in Europe). Our room was the right size, even the bathroom (just stand alone shower), bed like a queen size. The bed is firm but comfortable, good wifi, clean room, there is an A/C but not strong enough as we stayed here summer and hot. The proprietor was very responsive to all our inquiries, we had good communication.

Lovely small guest house in a nice, safe area, with plenty of food places on doorstop, very close to Vatican city and easy to get to other landmark attractions.
The room was clean, included mini fridge, modern bathroom and service and help from the owner was personal and friendly...she was always on hand to give lots of advice and recommendations.
Would highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend staying here. It's centrally located to all the major tourist sites but in a lovely, quiet, residential area with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Walking distance between Vatican and Rome centre so it was perfect. Lots of places to eat and the street markets were also around the corner. Loved the buffet breakfast and our triple room was very spacious.

From booking to checkout we could not have had a greater experience. Luca emailed us options for arrival- we chose to be picked up at the airport meaning we arrived at the B&B 45 minutes after landing! We then had a wonderful orientation of the city before being directed to a local restaurant. We are nearby each night.
This B&B is 10 minutes from St Peters and the Vatican. We walked the entire time around the citywide no need for public transport.

The hotel is very well appointed. You can easily walk to all the main attractions in Rome. Getting there is super easy too. Book return tickets on the Sit Shuttle Bus. Costs around £22 for 2 people. Book tickets for the Vatican stop. It drops you off literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Return trip goes from across the road where you have breakfast in the cafe. So easy. Camilla is lovely. Very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. She’ll go out of her way to help. We highly recommend this...

I stayed here for a single night and had a great experience. My room was absolutely spotless, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the location was highly convenient. I would definitely stay here again for a short trip!

Nice quiet area very close to metro for easy access to every where. The Metro is very cheap although we tended to walk most places. The apartments were modern inside but had a lovely old style courtyard entrance and lift to give it a nice atmosphere.
VERY IMPORTANT when you book up anywhere especially the Colosseum, when you turn up unofficial tour guides will try to convince you your tickets are either invalid or you will be in a queue for two hours or more and the only way to get in is to...

This was our second stay in Gran Melia, and honestly we normally aim for a less highly ranked option. But our plane ticket offered a package and when I saw that Gran Melia was an option, I couldn't resist. Stunning hotel in a perfect location for experiencing everything Rome has to offer. We walked, and distances are short, but they also have a shuttle to the fancier shopping area and you can get a taxi in seconds. We had a fantastic four night stay in Rome. The location of this accommodation is excellent being just a couple of minutes from the Vatican. We arrived very early before our room was ready but were made to feel welcomed by the friendly staff as soon as we entered and this continued throughout our stay. We were offered refreshments and given recommendations on bus routes the metro and areas and restaurants to visit. The room was very comfortable and clean and maintained to the same high standard...
