We had a wonderful stay at the River Palace Hotel in Rome! The hotel was very nice, clean, and beautifully maintained. The rooms were a little small, but honestly, we expected that in Rome and it didn’t take away from our experience at all.
The service was exceptional. Every day we came back to a spotless, freshly cleaned room, and the hotel concierge was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They were always happy to answer questions and help us with whatever we needed.
And the breakfast spread was fantastic! There was a wonderful variety, and it was the perfect way to start our mornings before heading out to explore everything Rome had to offer. Having a good breakfast waiting for us each morning was definitely a highlight of our stay.
The location was another big plus. We were within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit. The Colosseum and Trastevere were probably the furthest places we walked to, but we actually enjoyed being able to explore Rome on foot.
The hotel itself has such a beautiful old-world charm — almost like stepping back into another era. The character and elegance of the building really added to our experience of Rome and made our stay feel even more special.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would absolutely recommend the River Palace Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, charming hotel with wonderful service, a fantastic breakfast, and a great location in Rome. 🇮🇹❤️

"It's a bed in central Rome. Recently re- furbed and very clean. But basic. No tea and coffee or even kettle in room. Breakfast just satisfactory. Lounge and bar do not induce lounging. Dozen chairs six coffee tables couple of pictures. Four stars it ain't!"
