"We were excited to stay at this hotel after a family member did a few weeks ago. The stay was adequate but our check in and check out were both with Rosa who we found to be unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was fine. The staff during breakfast very kind and appreciative. Sadly Rosa just didn’t make us feel very welcome and we won’t stay at this hotel again because of this. Location was also a bit of a concern. If the Vatican is your focus it’s perfect. But if any of the other historical areas are on your agenda, avoid booking this spot although cabs are very easy to acquire. Four minutes on average before arriving at the front door which was excellent. But this is on average €15 each direction if crossing the river to the other famous locations. We wish we could rate higher but the staff at the front desk are a big part of the experience. We just felt unwelcome with our interactions with Rosa. "

"Nice staff, gorgeous building, marble everywhere and decor is nice. The breakfast is actually as good as you'd get somewhere in a nearby cafe. You can leave your luggage in a room before or after check-in and check-out. However, if little things such as small imperfections in floors bother you then it's not a place for you, head to Marriott. Cleaning ladies are very helpful and joyful. Electric only works when you insert your room key into a pocket by the door. You are asked to leave keys at the reception when you go out. My guess is pickpocketing is out of control in Rome and it's better this way :-)"

"I absolutely love this place... the staff loved my little baby and family. Ms. Silva, Ms. Monica, Mr. Emanule, and the other older gentleman and lady!!!. They were the most precious to us and so accommodating. Thank the Lord, we chose this place and location, best decision we could have made staying in Roma!!!! ARRIVEDERCI!!"

"I booked this hotel for its location to the Vatican and wasn’t disappointed. It was literally a 5 minute walk from St Peter’s Square. Castel Sant’Angelo is maximum of a 10 minute walk away and this is at a leisurely stroll! There are lots of cafes bars and shops around the hotel and there is a bus stop directly outside the door that takes you anywhere in Rome for €1.50. I used the bus twice- bus 81 to the Colosseum and bus 280 to The Knights of Malta keyhole. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and cheerful which makes all the difference as a solo traveller. I was disappointed that the roof terrace/bar was closed and had been since COVID as this was one of the attractions when booking this accommodation and is still a selling point on Expedia. However there is a very good bar directly below the hotel which I used for my nightly aperitivo instead! The accommodation itself was fine although a little tired looking. However I must stress how clean it was even though it was ready for a refresh which I believe is happening soon due to the sign in the lift. I would definitely recommend a stay if visiting the Vatican"

"Bathroom is extremely small including and not limited to the shower space and toilet seat space. I am petite and still had difficulties in the bathroom. In addition, the bed is hard as a rock. The only good thing about the property is the location. "
