"I recently stayed here and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
It would have been appreciated if we were informed at check-in that there was no functioning air conditioning. No one mentioned anything until the next day, when we were told to turn off the unit because it was blowing hot air. We spent the entire first night unable to sleep, as the room felt close to 40°C.
When we went to the front desk, the staff member did not mention any known issue and said maintenance would be sent, but there was no follow-up. Later, another staff member informed us the rooms did not have working AC due to maintenance issues. She was polite and arranged for maintenance.
Maintenance explained the situation, turned off the system, opened the balcony for airflow, and suggested a fan. While helpful, it wasn’t a real solution, and we had another sleepless night due to the heat.
Breakfast was also underwhelming. We arrived after the rush but still waited to be seated, and were only offered drinks at the end due to understaffing.
We couldn’t switch hotels due to meetings we had, but had we known about the AC issue, we would have stayed elsewhere. Communication is key. Overall, very frustrating for the price paid and resulted in some of the worst sleep."
