Top Tivarekar Wadi Hotel Reviews

Hotel Suba Palace

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The location is excellent and convenient for local sightseeing and shopping. The check in/out process was smooth and efficient. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. It was my wife's birthday and the team helped to make our stay in Mumbai memorable. They upgraded our room, decorared it and even provided a cake! To top it off they through in breakfast for our whole stay without charge! The room was cleaned and towels changed regularly. The air conditioning was excellent and the bed comfortable. The TV was modern, had the usual local channels but also access to YouTube. The breakfast was tasty and the menu varied each day. There was free daily tea and pastries on the roof top lounge area. The gym was small, hot and humid. It was not inviting to use. The concierge was not very useful, perhaps because of a language barrier. Most staff, other than the concierge, spoke multiple languages including English. The hotel was not well set up to organise tours of Mumbai and we found it much easier to organise something either online or from the vendors at the Gateway to India. All in all, our stay at the hotel was great and better than we had expected. Thank you."

Taj Wellington Mews Luxury Residences

10/10 Excellent

"Taj Wellington Mews Luxury Residences is a great choice for travellers looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay with the space and privacy of a residence. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making them especially convenient for longer stays or family trips. The service is warm and attentive, and the overall experience has the premium feel you would expect from Taj. The property also offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being well suited for exploring Mumbai. Tip for travellers: If you’re planning a longer stay, a residence-style property like this can be much more comfortable than a conventional hotel room. It’s worth checking the room category carefully and confirming the facilities included before booking. Overall, a relaxing and upscale stay that I would recommend to travellers who value comfort, space, and attentive hospitality."

Diplomat Hotel

8/10 Good

"Excellent staff and good room and bathroom. Breakfast pretty god and very good value all round. Several bars and restaurants in the locality. Fairly easy walk to the sights. A metro station about 15 minutes walk. Worth trying as it's modern and pretty unused. The only problem was a lot of noise from a bar directly below our room that went on until 1.30!!"
