"Room was nice, staff were really friendly and also helpful as one of the three rooms we’d booked was on a different floor so they swapped it, nice food and drinks in the bar (didn’t want a full meal) and great breakfast. Only disappointment was that we’d booked it for the racing and that had been cancelled due to being waterlogged so we went to Brighton instead"

"Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go.
Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."
