"The owner/MD was very attentive and helpful. Even enquired about our activities when we were in Pokhara, etc on Whatsapp always willing to help. Interested in us as people. Even asked if we got home safely afterwards. Very positive experience. Room comfortable amidst tiny streets.Gave advice on shopping and sightseeing. DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT CARD"

"An oasis of calm in this bustling city.
Great facilities, attentive but discrete staff, choice of restaurants and shopping on site
In places an older building that needs a slight update, but that’s also called character
Happily stay again without question ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

I love being at Kathmandu homestay!
I came back here bacause I loved it so much. The family running it is just so nice and they help you with everything and you become part of their lives for a few days. If you want the feeling of coming home after a day then stay here. Breakfast is simple but good and they invite you for dinner one evening you are staying with them.
I love masala tea!!!

Can’t rate it 5 stars as anything other than an excellent backpackers’ hostel!
Toilet and shower on every floor; private rooms available; cooking facilities; and run by a friendly Nepalese family.

Overall nice stay. The view on a clear day is beautiful, the breakfast buffet is good, the pool area is lovely, massages were great. Staff is kind - shout out to Nelson who helped me recover my passport lost in a plane.
On the downside the steam room and sauna were not working well, we did not get house cleaning on our second day and we did not like that the shower water dripped onto the whole bathroom floor. Just feedback for the team which I’m sure can be remedied.

Amazing view from the hotel, even though when you first walk into the reception area. Even better when we got an room upgrade to a room with a big patio. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also amazing with plenty of choices and selections. We had a good dinner too and they were reasonably priced.
If you are looking for a place to relax, and staying away from the buzzing Kathmandu.... this is the place to be.

A nice hotel located about 5minutes walk outside of Nagarkot Village on the road to the observation tower. Staff were friendly, the room was a good size, it had good WiFi and the shower had hot water. The only small criticism I have is the beds were slightly hard however I would still definitely recommend this hotel to people on a budget.

Enjoyed my stay from beginning to end! Staff were friendly--offering tea or coffee on arrival and making good recommendations for hiking. The multi-level balconies really can't be beat for comfort and great mountain views. Rooms were cozy, with a good heating system and the soft fleece blankets were a nice touch. My only (minor) complaint was that the bathroom was a bit chilly on a cold January day, but that didn't take away from an overall great experience. Definitely recommend staying here!

it's of our incredible stay at this Dahachok Homestay. The main part of they served Local home grown organic vegetables and other foods, which are very rare to find other touring places. The rooms were very comfortable, bright and nice. Internet speed was good and Hot shower facilities.
it's location is just off the crowd city and very calm environment.
