"If travelling to Kathmandu I thoroughly recommend this Hotel as your base. In Thamel but quiet enough at night to get a restful sleep. More importantly the manager sets an amazing tone and welcomes you warmly from the get go. Nice to be greeted by forst name basis. All other staff are friendly too. Rooms spacious . No faults here!!! Well done to everyone here, it’s appreciated "

The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious--and the views from the rooftop were outstanding. I will return the next time I am in Kathmandu."

"The staff at Hotel Buddah were fantastic, starting from breakfast and assisting with anything else (taxi to airport etc) as needed. It is quite a noisy area, which you can hear through the windows at night. Felt slightly unsafe walking around once dark but lovely and popular tourist spot during the day. "

"I was very impressed with this hotel! So that we extended one more night. Good customer service, helpful, friendly, professional. Room was fine with view. The hotel is huge and pool was nice. I highly recommend the Indian restaurant (we visited it twice) & the room service (was so good) and the outdoor lounge. Breakfast was very good & different than usual options. "Stay was pleasant. Chose the hotel for the price and also because I was staying here for an upcoming group tour. Main thing that let the hotel down was trying to organise pick up from the airport. Emailed at least 3 times with no response (via hotels.com and also through their email). "

"Regretfully this hotel is hotel is situated right next door to a 'Disco' playing techno music from 1100-0400 and even though my room was furthest away the sound was deafening.....shame as the rooms are OK and clean but not of a 4 star standard. Breakfast selection was poor"
