"Surely ,this place was overall the BEST resort we have been to in the past few years, 5 star. Super friendly, nice and supportive staff all around the resort, so I can only mention a couple of names, "Sirja" at management & "Roshan" at Devarana wellness centre who also guided us patiently to trekking to Namobuddha as well. "I booked my stay mostly on the rating of reviewers. I had several problems. There is a dog in a yard right outside my room. I was awakened at 1, 2, and even 4 a.m. by the dog barking. The room was also very cold. It had a space heater but, at night, the heater could not keep up with the cold temps outside. The bathroom sink had no hot water faucet. Only cold water there. "This property was truly wonderful. We stayed there twice and loved it! The rooms were charming and they fit a lot into this hotel - even a pool and gym. Chez Caroline is attached - amazing French food, and they have a restaurant with authentic Nepalese Thali food and entertainment. They helped us with transportation, and everyone was always friendly and helpful. LOVED it. There are also a few stores attached, including cute gift shops, clothing shops, and a place for mani/pedis. We just loved our stay there and highly recommend it."
