We booked a room in 88 fine hotel and was expecting to sleep in one of the detached rooms as per photos in the booking- however we stayed on the second floor of the black elephant boutique. "The rooms are a ok size with very basic furniture.The bathroom has air bricks and a wedged open small window,so is always hot and sticky. Beds are quiet soft for Thailand standards, pillows are hard.not sure if the road to the rooms is a cut through to a village seamed busy for the resort. no on site shop or cafe etc, shops a fair walk away we stopped a 7-eleven on route to stock up. kettle and cup/glasses in room but no tea or coffee. There looks to be better options to stay around that...

"We stayed here because it was only about 1 km ride from the airport where we had an early morning flight to Bangkok. The hotel provides a free round trip to the airport. Our room was quite large though sparsely furnished but did have a comfortable bed. There is a good inexpensive restaurant on their property. The hotel is a good value."
