This hotel has been the best so far in our four week trip to Thailand. They might not do breakfast at the hotel, but don't let that put you off. The view from the room was amazing. We used the free kayak and SUP's. There were complimentary snacks and drinks. Very helpful staff. Really really good.

What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. This is a magical place that really lets you escape and unwind. The setting is one of the most dramatic I've experienced (only topped by Sugar Beach in St Lucia) - the villas and communal buildings dotted on a steep jungle mountainside that drops down to a secluded fine sandy beach. Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever it was needed. They have a great view from the beach, breakfast is delicious, the cooking class was really great fun and the private villas are incredible if you want to enjoy the privacy of waking up to your own swimming pool. We stayed for 11 days in a sea view villa April 2016 for my sons wedding . Really good hotel, facilities and grounds are very well thought out and the staff were always very welcoming, with excellent service. Very relaxing place to be and they make it easy, helped by spacious layout of things like sunbeds and the large very nice pool facilities and beach facilities/ activiites. Many years, Banyan tree always look after us well. Extremely helpful staff, always make us feel welcomed. Great facilities. Mom and me enjoyed the yoga class. Dad enjoyed the beautiful beach. Thank you, banyan tree, gave us a wonderful quite family time.

Beautiful location with wonderful, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The spa and spa staff are amazing!!! Can’t recommend it enough. The only downside to this hotel is the hygiene and slightly dated pool surroundings. The hygiene around the breakfast buffet area could be a lot better, ie, food covered up to prevent the horrendous amount of flies going on food and plates, really was off putting. Could be managed better to prevent illness. Overall wonderful stay.

Stayed here for a relaxing Birthday break and made a good choice. Comfortable and spacious room, big clean pool, clean beach area and nice beach bar. Friendly staff and helpful reception. Free wifi was also reliable. Only downsides were that their own taxi prices are higher than on the street as are their motorbikes for rent, but they do offer free bicycles for local touring

This villa looked good on line, it was even better in reality. The host was very welcoming and the whole place felt more personable than a conventional hotel, with only five rooms. This was probably the nicest place we have stayed during our five week trip around Asia, wish we had booked another few nights but will maybe do so in the future. The pool and setting was amazing the beach at this part of Samui is so peaceful but still plenty of restaurants and shops. Thanks!

Excellent stay. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and their attention to detail was fabulous. Loved the decor of the property. It was traditional, with the bamboo and wood decor, gives the place a zen like feeling. Best part was the location of the hotel and the way it is designed. Even though we were in the busy part of chaweng we never felt like it. It was very calm and peaceful. The beach was excellent, only issue was that there was some patches of dirt. Very beautiful, amazing hotel. The lication and the Beach is perfact, the pool in the room, the Food, the hotel pool, the staff, everything is just very nice and warm, like in a moovie or in a very good dream.

Stayed here for 8 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect for getting away from it all as very secluded but also has the option of a small village within a 10 minute walk should you wish to venture out. Facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. What really makes this such a great place is the staff, they simply can't do enough to help and make you feel very welcome and special

Very nice rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is also convenient about 10 minutes from the center if you rent a motorcycle. Overall, it’s great value for money and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was very definitely better than on the photos. Nicely decorated and with spacious terrace. Stuff was friendly and very helpful. And I had best breakfast in Thailand here. Highly recommended and I will be back.

The people of Samui should be proud of their brave and accomodating response to others' needs at a time when they faced personal challenges during a 30 year storm and flooding. The hotel is fancy, with a great pool, sauna and massage accomodations, and easy transportation. The breakfast, included, is perfectly cooked, and the choices are many. AMAZING private villa, quiet, clean, spacious and great hospitality. Staffs are so friendly and prompt with any request. I can't be happier staying her for 2 nights, relaxing. Breakfast in the villa is the best! Private pool is great. The hotel is so close to the public beach (very quiet). Will definitely go back there again next time!!

What a little gem this boutique hotel turned out to be!! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like I was a VIP guest. The staff were so lovely and very quickly became my friends, particularly Kurgze on reception who was super friendly and efficient..nothing was to much trouble!
