"Great stay at Shinagawa Prince Hotel! My husband used to stay at this hotel when he was a child visiting his family in Japan so he wanted to stay here for our family trip. I was a little reluctant due to some of the reviews. I think the people reviewing are just not familiar with typical Japanese hotel rooms. They are small compared to the US. Overall, great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was exceptional and the front office was very helpful. There's a 7/11 onsite- which was a Godsend for waters, snacks and odds and ends during our stay. There's also several restaurants and some very nice shops. Can't beat the location which is a across the street from the train station. Overall, fantastic. I'd definitely have this be our home base again on our next trip to Japan!"
