"As much as I wanted to love this hotel, it is a high-end hotel. We had a lot of issues when we arrived. I had placed a bid to upgrade our room to a one bedroom suit, and when we landed in Miami, I got a notification that our bid was approved and that we were gonna be upgraded , but when we checked in they had no idea about our bid being approved. There was a lot of back-and-forth between the manager and the front desk and they told us that they don’t have the one bedroom suites available, even though they had said we won the bid. Then I asked for a rollaway bed which I had by the way emailed them before our arrival and asked them to save a rollaway bed and they assured me that they would have roll away beds and not to worry, but when we got here there they had no rollaway beds Available. they gave us a room at the Tresor Tower when we got to the building. There was a long line to get on the elevator, which was strange. We had to wait 20 minutes to get on the elevator to go up to our rooms . Once we got to our room the first two days of stay we couldn’t get an elevator in that tower so we had to take the stairs from the ninth floor going up and down. Having had knee-surger, that was probably the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel.then they call me and tell me they have a rollaway bed available but when we got back to our room at midnight , no rollaway bed ! We had to share a bed and sofa!"

"Overall the experience was ok. Hotel conditions are very old, I would only stay in their newly renovated rooms (which still need work). Our room flooded on the first night and was moved to a new room , but all the rooms have a stench of mildew and mold. Walls are paper thin, can hear people staying in the room next to us all night long. Air conditioner made strange noises at night. Lots of children who played in the pools after 8PM. Wish there was a jacuzzi.. breakfast was absolutely disgusting, looked like it sat out over night .. I could not even stomach to drink the coffee they had here. Overall, I probably would not stay here again. It’s good for a quick stay if you just want to hit the beach, nothing to do at all incase of rainy day."

"Lovely property but for some reason it missed a beat for me. Extremely pricey so I expected it to be really on point. However there were a few snags that made me think to try other properties in the future. Received a bit of an attitude from two front desk employees and housekeeping missed my room one day. Dumb rubber bracelet key fob that they give you upon arrival for access to elevator, room, pool, etc with a caveat that should you lose or misplace it, they inflict a $25.00 replacement fee. Now at $500+ a night, rather PETTY charging you for a piece of rubber that sometimes worked unless you had it close to your cellphone which could POSSIBLY render it useless... "

"Felt very safe here, friendly staff. The room is very outdated and has a mildew/old/damp smell. The space in the rooms can be maximized exponentially with different arrangements and cutting the divider wall between the bathroom and kitchen. Definitely had space for a dresser. No real complaints, though, we were satisfied with our stay. The neighbors were so comfortable and minded their own business, as did we. "
