"We were there only one night and had dinner before we arrived. Not sure what restaurants are in the area. It has a pool and gym but didn't have time to check them out as we left early the next morning. The breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, bagels, muffins, waffles, toppings, juice, coffee. etc. very clean and well stocked. large sitting area. Our room was a small studio with a kitchenette, dishes, cups cooking utensils, small stove top and everything for eating in if desired. Microwave, full size refrigerator, and dish washer. Great for solo or couple. TV is set on a cabinet like shelve thing that separates the couch area from the bed area and the TV swivels so you can watch from the couch or bed. (Bring your NETFLIX password if you want to access it). We did not see the larger rooms, but this was great for our needs. "

Dust collected on bed’s headboard, hair in the bathroom that wasn’t mine, and mystery stains on the curtains… I elected to not explore the other facilities contained based on my experience in the room. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "
