THE SPACE TO STAY APARTHOTEL

THE SPACE TO STAY APARTHOTEL

10/10 Excellent
"This is university student housing that is repurposed into an aparthotel during the summer break. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I stayed in the separate Bonnybank building on Floor 2 in the back. The room was clean, very nicely sized with a small couch and desk area in addition to the bed and kitchenette, and separate bathroom. The soundproofing from the hallway could be improved but unless you open a window, outside noise wasnโ€™t disturbingly loud. In the main building, there is a laundry room with several machines (download app to use, soap required though other guests left extras). There are also microwaves in the communal room outside the laundry room. I didnโ€™t cook in the room but I did use the plates, cups, cutlery, and refrigerator. There was also a restaurant, Social open on site. There are both an Aldi and M&S grocery store 5-minute drive/15-minute walk away. If you donโ€™t have a car, factor costs for taxis, or an uphill 20-minute walk to city centre."
